Pilates was developed over 80 years ago, by Joseph Pilates, as a method of body conditioning.  Pilates strengthens and tones together with relaxing and rebalancing the body.  It is a form of exercise that is suitable for everyone and can be tailored to individual needs.
Our classes focus on safety and progression through levels.  Clients are encouraged to challenge but never to struggle.
The Principles of Pilates are:
Concentration, Control, Breathing, Centering, Precision, Flowing Movement, Isolation and Routine.
